Keep blogging!
No more vino for Lily

It is a great sacrifice to make for your fellow person to drink wine with them.

It also doesn't hurt as much as the after effects of mine sweeping round the bar after closing time.....now there are some memories that are better buried deep in the vaults of the id.

No more vino for Lily

I've worked it out. If you acquire another 16% of the vineyard you'll be in control. You can insist on growing Shiraz grapes.

By the way, according to Henry Arthur Jones,' Wine is the nurse of all great imaginative literature.'

Feel better now?

In response to:Some gentle stress relief: Me and my light-gun

Yep, it's silent scope - isn't it just such good fun! You need to have a re-match with your son...

Go get out that gun :-)

In response to:Bottles and bruises…

MiB stopped going to festivals for this and other reasons.
Is that the gun that came with the Silent Scope game?

I got that one in a Xbox+Games+Gun = Good Value (yeah, right) offer from someone or other.

Despite having been a game fanatic when I was younger (nothing makes you sound older then when you say 'when I was....'), I just can't get into the HaloII/Half Life stuff that my son plays. But when we both played Silent Scope, I gained a lot of respect from him.

Having a career, having more sucessful business ventures than failed ones, being respected by my peers - none of that matters. But kicking his arse at a game and now he thinks I'm cool.

Anyway - hope you have as much fun as I did. Past tense, I haven't seen the gun for months :-(

Take care
It was never like that at Bunnymen gigs or The Chameleons. I wish crowd surfing had been more popular in 'my' day though.

Fave bands at the moment; Athlete, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, El Presidente, Hard Fi. It will probably change by next month.

In response to:Oh, happy day...

Lucky you - there's still the afternoon yet.

We don't need these creatures messing up the blogs, they have other more traditional ways of harrassing people into bad investments and extortionate loans.
